Best MOM in the World

Hello Friends,
I back here to Blogging after a long time!! sorry for being MIA!!! 
Well Since Mother's Day is round the corner,  I have a Card to share with you all today, which I made for my Mom!!

I have also registered myself for the 'Clear & Sheer' Class at Onlinecardclasses, and got inspired to create this card from the lessons taught there !! Although I joined in late & have been keeping very busy with other stuff I managed to create 1 card for the Gallery & since I used both Acetate & Vellum on my card I will be posting it under the 4th day Gallery !!

Here's what I came up with !!

The Top Left Rectangle Frame Die Cut (from Simon Says Stamp - Stitched Rectangle Die) has been mounted on a shaker pocket that I made using my WRMK Fuse Tool ,Scrapbook Page Protector & filled it with Sequins & Beads !! 

The Floral Stamped die-cut is from 'Clearly Besotted Set& I colored it using my Copic Markers.

For the Sentiment I Heat Embossed it using my Ranger Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder on Vellum& the sentiment stamp is from 'Wild Hibiscus' Stamp set by Altenew. 

The card base has been distressed using 'Mowed Lawn' & 'Twisted Citron" Distress Inks & Prima Marketing 'Grunge Grid' Stencil !

I quite liked the Vellum & acetate together !! The shaker card gives it a fun element whereas the Vellum makes it look super elegant !!

5 Cards 1 Stamp Set - Altenew Garden Grow

Good Afternoon Friends..

I'm here today with a whole bunch of cards made using 1 Stamp Set !!
A Very Sweet, Friend & a very Talented Crafter - Priya Sondhi challenged us to make 5 different cards using the same stamp set !! You can find her Awesome blog here !
Okay for this challenge I chose a Set from my Current Fav. Brand - ALTENEW !!
I picked the "Garden Grow" set !!

Isn't this such a pretty set with so many cute images !! Totally Loved working with these!

DISCLAIMER : It's gonna be a Picture Heavy Post !! 

This is what all my cards along with the Stamp Set look like together !!

Here's My 1st Card: 

 It's a CAS card where the stamping is continued at the back as well.

I quite liked this... 

I used my Ranger Archival- Jet Black Ink & Misti for this card !

Here's My Second Card !!

Used my Archival - Jet Black Ink to randomly stamp the collage on a piece of Tim Holtz watercolor paper. Using my Spellbinders Circle Die, I cut a window on the watercolor paper. Placing this piece on my Card base I traced the window & stamped the Flower pot on the Card Front. I used my Zig Brush Markers & Faber Castelle Watercolor Pencils to color. Next I adhered the Window Piece on my Card front using Foam Dots to create some dimension !! Simple, Qick & Easy Peasy !

Here comes Card #3 !!

This again is a Very Simple & Easy-to-make card ! I was done in less than 10 mins. Yay !!

I used my Sponge Daubers, Distress Inks (Wilted Violet, Twisted Citron & Worn Lipstick) & Circle Stencils for the Dots !! After which I stamped these cute lil images using my Ranger Archival - Jet Black Ink. & I was done ! 

Take a Look at Card # 4 !

I was so done with making CAS cards that I decided to make a few elaborate ones & this set called for some Watercoloring ! I created this scene, did some masking & watercolored the images using my Karutake Gansai Tambi colors ! I love them... I used the Tim Holtz Watercolor Paper & Ranger Archival- Jet Black Ink for stamping !!

After painting the images, I went over the inked edges using my Fine Tip Black Sharpie for the detailed look. 

My 5th &  Final Card for this series :

Since we were to Bring out our stash & put it to use, I thought of pulling out my Pattern Papers which have been untouched since a long time now !! I picked the 'Zaphyr" 6x6 paper pad by Prima Marketing for the front panel. It went perfectly with the Window & Flower Box Die-cuts from Memory Box.

I stamped the plants on a watercolored cardstock using my Ranger Archival Jet Black Ink & painted it using my Gansai Tambi Colors. Outlined the image using my Fine Tip Sharpie to give it the crisp look & mounted the Window die over my painted piece using double layers of Dimensional Tape !

I adhered the Pattern Paper on a White Cardstock by Neenah Solar White !

Hoot Hoot Baby Room Decor Set

Hello Friends,
I have been MIA lately !! I have been so out of touch with my Craft Supplies & My Studio.
Well now I am back & I wanna first wish you all A VERY HAPPY 2016 !!
I did manage to make a few cards, but I haven't really got a chance to upload them.
My Resolution for this year is to try & craft as much as possible & also to upload them on my Blog !! So hopefully you will be seeing more of my work !!

Well today, I have something other than a Card !
It's a 3 Piece wall art (which will be framed) for a Baby's Nursery.
I got the idea from several pictures that I found on Pinterest !!

Watercolor with Design Memory Craft Gelatos

Hiya Craft Peeps,

This is another Panel that i created using my Gelatos & a stencil.

This technique was taught to us in the Watercolor Class - Exploring Mediums (Online Card Class)

by Shari Carroll, on Day #3 of class.

Oh! She's just awesome !! Loved this technique so much !! 

 

Gelatos  Used : Kiwi, Margarita Mix, Blueberry & Cotton Candy !

Stencil is from 'Hampton Arts".

I made another panel in shades of Pink using my Gelatos.

The Stencil is from Hero Arts - Tweed Pattern.

Lime Base - was distressed using Twisted Citron Distress ink

The "Arboscello Tree" Die is from Memory Box which has been cut 4 times & stuck together to give the card some dimension.

Twine is from my stash which was dyed using Distress Sprays

Sentiment is stamped using Versafine Onyx Black Ink,  from " For All You Do Vintage Label Three" set from Justrite Stampers.The tag was Hand drawn & cut !!

Bundle of Joy No line Coloring

Hello Crafty Friends,

As you can See I am on a Watercolor Roll !

It's Day #2's Lesson & My fav too - NO LINE COLORING, taught by Kristina Werner.

Here's what I colored... a cute lil Stork bringing in a bundle of joy !!

I used the "Special Delivery" Stamp Set from Justrite Stampers.

Inked it with my Antique Linen Distress Ink & Colored in with the same inks.

The sentiment has been stamped using the versafine Onyx Black ink. I used my Brustro Water Color Paper (Cold Press)

No Line Coloring Again

Hi Friends, 

I have been enjoying  myself with different mediums for Watercoloring.

Thanks to the awesome Class that I took at Online Card Class - Water Color (Exploring Mediums).

The Teachers are just wonderful & it is so much fun !!

Well Day #2 included my fav. Technique "NO LINE COLORING"

and Kristina Werner Colored some very cute critters using this technique.

Here's what I came up with !

The Image is from the "Cake & Wishes" Stamp Set from Penny Black,

Which was stamped using my Antique Linen Distress Ink & then colore using my Distress Inks.

I used my Sakura Gelly Roll Pen for his eyes & shoe laces !

I cut this piece using my Simon Says Stamp Die - Stitched Rectangles !

I will be using this image on a card sometime soon !!

Right now I am just so busy & enjoying watercoloring using my different mediums that I have !

Online Watercolor Class Exploring Mediums Day 2

Hello Freinds,
I'm on a Watercolor Roll. And here's what I came up with for my Water Color - Exploring Mediums Day #2. It involve Traditional Mediums, such as Watercolor Cakes, Distress Inks etc. This was inspired by Laura Bassen's Video !!

This Background was done using my 'Mon Ami' Watercolo Paints & I Also Heat Embossed the Metallic Lines in "Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder". Used the Simon Says Stamp - Wide Stripes.

Card Making fun with Arjita

Hey Crafty People,
I am So excited to share a card with you all today... Ok Let me tell you a little about how I came up with this card. My Dear Friend & Fellow Crafter Arjita Singh & Myself were discussing about our habit of Hoarding Our Craft Supplies... Hardly do we find using our Supplies.
We decided to randomly pick up a stamp set from the 'Alt E New' (OUR CURRENT FAVOURITE) collection that we both own, and create a card with it !! And the stamp that was Picked was "Lacy Scrolls" that was lying un-inked with us both !! We gave e/o a day's time to make a card & share with each other !! So here's my take on it !!
Here's the "Lacy Scrolls" Stamp Set by Alt E New !! 

[DID I SAY I LOVE THIS STAMP COMPANY !!!]

This is what the Card Inside looks like , and behind is the envelope !!

At First I took the largest Peony flower stamp from this set & stamped it randomly using my "Twisted Citron" Distress Ink.. (I SOOOOO LOVE THIS SHADE) 

After which I stamped the leaves in two shades of the Ranger Dye Inks - Electric Lime & Lily Pad. I stamped a few more leaves on a different cardstock & fussy cut them. Took some Jute/Burlap Twine and added it with the fussy cut Leaf images to go on top. Added Glossy Accents to the leaves to give them some dimension.

Lastly, Stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black Ink from "Label Love" Set from Alt E New, fussy cut & stuck it on the card using my foam dots !!

Finally stuck this piece of stamped cardstock on a Top-Fold A2 card front & added some stitching lines using my Micro tip fine liner.

Did some stamping using the dye inks on the card inside & the envelope to give it some interest !!

And yes I loved the way it turned out & I hope My friend Arjita too likes it.... as it will reach her very soon !!  :)

P.S. The Envelope was made with Fabriano Paper using my WRMK Envelope Punch Board.

It's one of the best Tools that I own After my MISTI Tool !!

Making envelopes is now so much faster & easier !! Saves so much time & the best part is you can make envelopes using any kinda papers u like... just incase u want a particular shade of paper to match your card !!

Happy Birthday Poppies

Hello Friends,
Here's a CAS card today in which I have used my Memory Box Die - Prim Poppy and colored it using my Copic Markers.
The white strip on the left is Printed Vellum on white Cardstock.
I typed "Happy Birthday" randomly in Orange color & Printed it out on a piece of vellum.

Sentiment Stamp is from WPlus9 - "Written on Ribbon" set.
The Orange Background was distressed using Wild Honey  & Spiced Marmalade Distress Inks & Splattered with water for that effect !

Double Embossing Stamping Resist Tutorial

Hi Friends...

It's Time now for another Tutorial !

Yes !! It's Double the fun......with 

"Double Emboss Resist Technique"

...so lets get started !!

Step 1: Use your Memento Inks/Archival Inks to stamp your background.

Here I am using a Flourish Stamp & the Blue Summer Sky Memento Ink.

Step 2: Next I stamped some text back ground randomly using a darker shade of blue ink.

Step 3: Now for my next design I have chosen a Prima Stencil instead of any stamp.

I have covered the entire card stock with the stencil & inked it with Versamark Ink.

(P.S. When using your stencils make sure you use the ink pad liberally.)

Step 4: Now it's time to emboss. I have used my Fav. Lindy's Stamp Gang Embossing Powders.

These are two-toned Embossing Powders just like the Sprays..& the results are just fabulous.

We have a whole lot of shades in the store!! Grab some of your favourites & create magic.

Step 5: Use your Heat Tool to emboss the powder. You'll see the two-toned effect once the powder melts. Doesn't it look gorgeous !! I love it !!

Step 6 : Bring out your Lindy's Stamp Gang starbursts & get spraying!!

I have sprayed the background using 2 colors.

Step 7: Dab the excess with a wet tissue/ baby wipe & dry off with your heat tool.

And a Gorgeous Background is ready to be worked on !!

It looks just faaaabulous in Real Life !!

Love all that shimmer...

This is not all my Friends...

I have yet another card using the Double Emboss Resist Technique...

for this card I have used 2 Stamps..instead of 1 stamp & 1 stencil.

I stamped the Leaf Silhouette stamp with my versamark ink & clear embossed it !

once dry..i distress the entire cardstock with Walnut Stain Distress Ink & wiped the excess off with a baby wipe !! And here's the result !!

And here's what the Final Card looks Like !!
