Different Watercolor Techniques learnt in OCC Watercolor Class


Hi Friends,
Here are some of the watercolor techniques, using different mediums that I did which I learnt in the OCC-Watercolor:Exploring Medium Class.
I have used some of them on cards & the rest will be used too... 
It was an amazing Experience ! Yay !!

Tilda with Big Ice Cream Watercolored

Hello Poeple,
Here's another cute Tilda Image that I have watercolored using Distress inks. Online Card Class : Watercolor - Exploring Mediums is surely one of the nicest classes I have ever taken !! I am so happy using all the different mediums that I have to get different looks... A Big Thank you to all the teachers !!



I can't wait to use this cute image on a card !!

Watercolor with Design Memory Craft Gelatos

Hiya Craft Peeps,
This is another Panel that i created using my Gelatos & a stencil.
This technique was taught to us in the Watercolor Class - Exploring Mediums (Online Card Class)
by Shari Carroll, on Day #3 of class.
Oh! She's just awesome !! Loved this technique so much !! 

 

Gelatos  Used : Kiwi, Margarita Mix, Blueberry & Cotton Candy !
Stencil is from 'Hampton Arts".

I made another panel in shades of Pink using my Gelatos.
The Stencil is from Hero Arts - Tweed Pattern.








Lime Base - was distressed using Twisted Citron Distress ink
The "Arboscello Tree" Die is from Memory Box which has been cut 4 times & stuck together to give the card some dimension.
Twine is from my stash which was dyed using Distress Sprays
Sentiment is stamped using Versafine Onyx Black Ink,  from " For All You Do Vintage Label Three" set from Justrite Stampers.The tag was Hand drawn & cut !!

InstaLove

Hiya !! I'm back again with this supercute Prima Doll Card !
Used a Watercolored panel that I made using my Distress Inks.
here..







I used my Water Color Pencils by Faber Castell to color the Doll (Prima Marketing Mixed Media Doll Stamp with a Bolero ) on a textured Cardstock !
Layered the colored piece on multiple layers of Pattern Paper (From Ki Memories - Princess Collection). The Polaroid & Instagram Die cuts are from 'Mama Elephant - Instalove" Set.
The Film Strip is a Tim Holtz Die !
The doll was colored & fussy cut. The rRed heart was colored using my Distress Marker & the Pink heart was distressed using the Tsukineko Radiant Neon Ink - Radiant Coral.
The head band & skirt folds were accented using Pink Stickles. I added some Clear Wink of Stella for some more sheen. The sentiment was stamped with 'Technique Tuesday - Favourite Mmeories' Stamp Set, using Versafine Onyx Black. Worn Lipstick was use to distress the 'Insta' Cam. Washi Tape was used to stick the polaroid onto the base.
I also added Glossy Accents to the red heart, for some dimension !!
I Loved the way she looks....

Watercolor with Color Burst by Ken Oliver


Hello Crafty People,
I am here with a card today using my Ken Oliver Color Burst for the first time, which I have been hoarding since a long time now !! I so wish I had played with them earlier ! Never the less, I was so excited to see the Burst of color as soon as it came in contact with water ! Was Magical !

Here's what I did.. I tapped some color burst on a piece of cardstock & sprayed some water using my Ranger Mini Mister and I loved the results !!
The Vibrant look of color splashes all over was so amazing. After it was completely dry, I stamped some of these pretty Flowers from the ALTENEW stamp set - Wild Hibiscus using my Archival - Jet Black Ink and then fussy cut it  !!


Later I used these pretty flowers & a pair of birds on this card below! I just love how this turned out !

Fresh Freesia on Rainbow Hexagons

Another watercolored card using Traditional
Watercolors ! Hexagons were hand drawn using a soft pencil & then erased slightly !
Brustro Cold Press Paper, Mon Ami Watercolor Palette, Altenew - fresh Freesia Stamp, Ranger Archival - Jet Black Ink & A Grey - Watercolor Pencil from Faber Castell was used for this card !
Tried to give a little 'Ombre' Look to some of the Hexagons.

Bundle of Joy No line Coloring

Hello Crafty Friends,
As you can See I am on a Watercolor Roll !
It's Day #2's Lesson & My fav too - NO LINE COLORING, taught by Kristina Werner.
Here's what I colored... a cute lil Stork bringing in a bundle of joy !!



I used the "Special Delivery" Stamp Set from Justrite Stampers.
Inked it with my Antique Linen Distress Ink & Colored in with the same inks.
The sentiment has been stamped using the versafine Onyx Black ink. I used my Brustro Water Color Paper (Cold Press) 

Come back for some more watercolor pieces !!
Girl !! I am having so much fun playing with my watercolors !

No Line Coloring Again


Hi Friends, 
I have been enjoying  myself with different mediums for Watercoloring.
Thanks to the awesome Class that I took at Online Card Class - Water Color (Exploring Mediums).
The Teachers are just wonderful & it is so much fun !!
Well Day #2 included my fav. Technique "NO LINE COLORING"
and Kristina Werner Colored some very cute critters using this technique.
Here's what I came up with !



The Image is from the "Cake & Wishes" Stamp Set from Penny Black,
Which was stamped using my Antique Linen Distress Ink & then colore using my Distress Inks.
I used my Sakura Gelly Roll Pen for his eyes & shoe laces !
I cut this piece using my Simon Says Stamp Die - Stitched Rectangles !

I will be using this image on a card sometime soon !!
Right now I am just so busy & enjoying watercoloring using my different mediums that I have !

Time for Yummy Macaroons

Hello Friends,
Here's another Card that I made using the watercolor techniques using my Zig Brush Pens.
This was inspire by Jennifer Mcguire from the Online Card Class - Watercolor : Exploring Mediums from Day #1.

I used the Cute Stamp set "TEArrific" from Jane's Doodles.
I love this set ! It's Supercute !
I heat embossed the images using my Versamark & Stampendous Detailed White mbossing Powder.
Each of the Macaroon was watercolored & Fussy Cut & then placed on the card base !
The Pattern Paper is from my stash. The sentiment is from the "Pretty Peonies" from Jane's Doodles as well, & I used Versafine-Onyx Black to stamp !
LawnFawn Die : Stitched Scalloped Border was used to cut the Patter Paper.

Online Watercolor Class Exploring Mediums Day 2

Hello Freinds,
I'm on a Watercolor Roll. And here's what I came up with for my Water Color - Exploring Mediums Day #2. It involve Traditional Mediums, such as Watercolor Cakes, Distress Inks etc. This was inspired by Laura Bassen's Video !!





This Background was done using my 'Mon Ami' Watercolo Paints & I Also Heat Embossed the Metallic Lines in "Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder". Used the Simon Says Stamp - Wide Stripes.

Birthday Wishes from all of us


Here's another card I did for Day #1 of the Watercolor for Cardmakers Class - Exploring Mediums. It's a fun Birthday Card with cute Animal Images from the Lawn Fawn Stamp Set - Farm Critters.





I used my Zig Brush Markers for this card. 
These little party hats, bow tie & grass are from the "Unforgettable Set" & the sentiment is from the
  "Whole Lotta' Happy" Stamp Sets from WPLUS9
The watercolor panel ( Ranger Water color paper) was cut using my Simon Says Die - Stitched Rectangles. I also used my Sakura Gelly Roll Black Pen for the critter's eyes!

This class is so much fun & I am thoroughly enjoying myself actually getting to Explore all the Stuff that I have been hoarding ! Now it's the time to get them out & start playing with 'em !

Hoping to feel better soon tomorrow & catching up with Day  #2 & Day #3 Lessons !

Lovely In Lilac

Hello my Crafty Friends,
Well I'm here today with another card that I made yesterday as a Homework/Practice for the First Day at 'OnlineCardclasses - Watercolor for Cardmakers : Exploring Mediums !!

P.S. I hurt my hand yesterday & am not able to practice coloring for  Day 2 & Day 3 Lessons. I gave my hand a complete rest today & I'm hoping it feels better tomorrow so that I can catch up on Day 2 & Day 3 Lessons ! 

Day 1 : MARKERS

For my First Card I used my Distress Markers in,
Shaded Lilac,
Dusty Concord,
Seedless Preserves,
Forest Moss &
Peeled Paint



The Stamp Used here is from AltENew - "Magnolias for Her"
The sentiment is from Altenew's "Fresh Freesia Set"
The image has been heat embossed using my Versamark Ink & Rangers Gold Emb. Powder !
Pattern Paper is from my stash !

Magnificent Magnolias

Hello Crafters,
I'm here with a pretty Watercolored Card today !
I have enrolled into ''Online Card Classes - Watercolor for Cardmakers : Exploring Mediums"
and it was Day #1 yesterday & It was just an awesome experience !
Here's what I came up with using my Zig Brush Pens (I have used them for the first time ever!!) Inspired by Jennifer McGuire's Lesson using the Zig Brush Markers !

Romantic Roses

Hello Crafty Friends,
Whats on your craft table today ?? Well I have this pretty Pink Card to share with you all.
I have been enjoying the Multi Step Stamping a lot these days & So many brands have come up with such lovely Multi-Step Stamps that It's really becoming difficult to choose from.
Here's my Card using the 'Wild Romantic Roses' Multi-Step Stamp Set by Justrite !
Yes !! They are coming back again with a Bang ! How much have I missed my Fav. Stamp Brand while they were Away !! And to begin with, Justrite Has come up with some super awesome Stamp Sets & my Fav, is the Multi Step Poinsettia ! I saw the Video by Darsie Bruno, the other day & I just flipped for the cards she created !! They were just awesome..
