Ken Oliver Liquid Metals Review (Guest Designing for Lulupu)

Hey Friends & Crafty Peeps,
This is Riti Poddar here today on The Lulupu Blog and am Super Excited & Happy to be Guest Designing!! Thank You Karuna & the entire team of Lulupu to have given me this wonderful opportunity to showcase my work & style using the "Ken Oliver - Liquid Metals"

I will not be going into further details about the product as My fellow Crafter Jaya Raghuvanshi has already Posted about the same in details. If you missed her post here is the link.
I made a few projects using thes fabulous Liquid Metals..
And I Have a Video Tutorial for you all at the end of this post !

My 1st project is this pretty Watercolored Card:

I have Used my Ken Oliver Liquid Metals to watercolor the heat embossed image from Altenew Stamp Set - Persian Motifs
The colors blend in beautifully with one another. Not only with the Liquid Metals , but they also blend beautifully with the Ken Okiver Color Bursts!! And once the image dried up the results were just superb.. The shimmer was so pretty!

My Next Project was this beautiful Wine  Bottle that I altered.

I used my Ken Oliver Liquid Metal - Copper on the bottle. My first step was to Wash & remove the Label from the Wine Bottle with warm soapy water. Next I prepped the bottle with multiple coats of Gesso. Once Dry, .I Squeezed the Liquid Metal in Copper along with American Crafts Gold Paint onto my Bottle Surface & allowed it to drip & used my Stippling brush to cover the desired areas on the bottle to give it some texture!! Once  was happy with the coverage, I dried it using my Ranger Heat Gun !
Lastly, I adhered some SOS Peso Flowers (Fabric ones), A Semi-Precious Stone Pendant with a chain and tied some Jute string around the Neck of the bottle !! And I was done !! It looks far better in Real Life...the Sheen from the Liquid Metal, on the bottle was just so brilliant !!

Lastly I made this Mixed Media Canvas

I enjoyed using My Ken Oliver Liquid Metals so very much & This Canvas is
So special to me !! Check out the Video below to know how I made this Canvas from Start-to-finish!!

Hope you All Enjoyed these projects !!
Would Love to Get your Valuable Comments & Suggestions,
Please Feel Free to ask if you have any queries about these projects,
I'll be more than Glad to answer them !

Have a Lovely Day !

Sweet Treats For You OCC Clear & Sheer

Here's My 2nd Card for the Day !! I will be linking this to the Onilne Card Class ' Clear & Sheer' Gallery - Day 2.

A whole lotta layers have been used to make this card ! The Card Base is a Neenah Solar White, on which a Silver Craft Paper has been attached leaving 1/4" margin on top & bottom. Next I have attached a Cupcake Design Pattern Paper to which I have adhered Vellum ( I die cut a scallop border at the edge of the vellum for some interest, using my Stitched Scallop Die - Lawnfawn)
Next I stamped & Fussy Cut a few Cupcakes & stand using my WPLUS9 Stamp Set - 'Sweets & Treats". I used my Altenew Crisp Inks for these. I doodled some sprinkles on the cupcakes & stuck a cherry sticker to one of them !
I die cut a 'Stitched rectangle frame' from a SSS die & stuck the cupcakes. Next I used my Foam Dots to stick the frame on the left. The Thin strip is heat embossed using SSS-Wide stripes stamp and Ranger : liquid platinum Embossing Powder & then I distressed the blank stripes using my Distress Inks. For the Sentiment, I used Altenew Stamp Set - 'Label Love' & Hero Arts Shadow Ink - Wet Cement' & Altenew Crisp Ink : Frosty Pink & Pop Dotted the same !
Lastly, I added a bow, Sequins & Rhinestones to finish the card !!

I had so much fun creating this card !!!                                                          Hope you like it too !!
                                 Thanks for stopping by,

Little Something - OCC CLEAR & SHEER

Hey Friends !!!
I had a Super Busy Day today !! All I did was Craft, Craft & Craft !! Made quite a few cards today after sooo long & Boy !! I do feel Accomplished !!

Let me show you my first card for today !!
I used Acetate for the card base.
I am going to enter this for my Online Card Classes - 'Clear & Sheer' Gallery for Day 3

I stamped these cute Macaroons from Jane's Doodles Stamp Set - Tea-riffic.
Colored these using My Copics & Fussy cut them !
arranged them and stuck these on a Doily ! After I was happy with my card centre, I adhered it on my Card front (in this case - Acetate) and used another Doily to cover the back of the Front panel of the Acetate ! Similarly I adhered the Doilies on the back panel of the Acetate!
At the bottom of the front of my card, I adhered Pattern Paper to which I had heat embossed a 'Sentiment' using my ' Clearly Besotted' Stamp Set - 'A Little Something', using my Stampendous Detailed White Embossing Powder !
Finished my card with a Pretty Bow On top !!
Lastly, I added Clear Wink of Stella on the Macaroons !!

Thanks for stopping by,
Hugs,
Riti !!

Best MOM in the World

Hello Friends,
I back here to Blogging after a long time!! sorry for being MIA!!!
Well Since Mother's Day is round the corner,  I have a Card to share with you all today, which I made for my Mom!!

I have also registered myself for the 'Clear & Sheer' Class at Onlinecardclasses, and got inspired to create this card from the lessons taught there !! Although I joined in late & have been keeping very busy with other stuff I managed to create 1 card for the Gallery & since I used both Acetate & Vellum on my card I will be posting it under the 4th day Gallery !!

Here's what I came up with !!

The Top Left Rectangle Frame Die Cut (from Simon Says Stamp - Stitched Rectangle Die) has been mounted on a shaker pocket that I made using my WRMK Fuse Tool ,Scrapbook Page Protector & filled it with Sequins & Beads !!
The Floral Stamped die-cut is from 'Clearly Besotted Set& I colored it using my Copic Markers.
For the Sentiment I Heat Embossed it using my Ranger Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder on Vellum& the sentiment stamp is from 'Wild Hibiscus' Stamp set by Altenew.
The card base has been distressed using 'Mowed Lawn' & 'Twisted Citron" Distress Inks & Prima Marketing 'Grunge Grid' Stencil !

I quite liked the Vellum & acetate together !! The shaker card gives it a fun element whereas the Vellum makes it look super elegant !!

Thanks for stopping by,
Have a Nice Day !
Hugs
Riti
