Hi Peeps,
I'm super glad to be back here with a couple of cards after what seemed like ages.
I was literally dying to enter my Craft Room & create something. I had tonnes & tonnes of brand new Unity & Skipping Stone Designs Stamps waiting to be inked. Okay without taking anymore of your time I'd straight away post pics......

I was literally dying to enter my Craft Room & create something. I had tonnes & tonnes of brand new Unity & Skipping Stone Designs Stamps waiting to be inked. Okay without taking anymore of your time I'd straight away post pics......
Supplies Used:
Card Stock : Water Color Paper, Pattern Paper: K &Co. Stamps: Simple Stories Itty Bitty
by Unity-Absolutely Priceless.
Ink : Distress Inks by Tim Holtz (Peeled Paint, Faded Jeans & Shabby Shutters), Memento Ink: Rich Cocoa, Foam Dots by Making Memories, Black & White Signo Gel Pen for doodling.
Just a little bit about how I got the clouds & hills.
I used plain white card stock and cut out a few clouds freehand. With a sponge dauber and faded jeans distress ink I lightly sponged around the scallops moving the template to different angles to form the clouds. I went back in with the template just slightly off and on with the same ink to create a shadow. Similarly the Hills were done.
I have pop-dotted some parts of the hot-air balloon for the extra dimension. I'm still thinking of a nice sentiment for this one. Will be giving this to my Hubby for our 7th Wedding Anniversary this May.
Any suggestions...I'll be happy to get !
Hugs,
Thanks for looking,
Riti : )
